ON HOLD-- Sorry

Hello all, I hope you are all still with us. It saddens me greatly that we have been down...because of me...Hubs is still in a facility...things are not great at home, either, for many reasons.  I am not in a great place right now, and would appreciate it SOOO much, if you weould all hang in there with me...I promise a new challenge will be soon. ONE would have already been here, except some teenager at the library snatched my flashdrive, that had all my images on it.  So I have to re do all that down loading etc.

I am still down a design member or 2, and really could use someone that is willing to be my asistant.
I understand my email account is not letting any emails through...this I can not explain at this moment. However, please know I am looking into issues and working on what I can...there really is just SOOOO much on my plate (pretty much all negative also). I will not go into things here, as to not bring anyone down.

If you are a "regular" or a friend, most of you know who I am on Facebook, so message me there if you wish to speak with me.

Challenge #17...THE GAME is...Create a Christmas cracker (very late)

UPDATE: if we do not get at least 3 more players...there will be no prize drawing or badges given out. sorry, it has to be fair.


I am sooo very sorry to be late again...I am still dealing with hubs, my own getting sick, my internet port dying, and a couple of late entries.
OVERALL we are rolling right along, though, and I am looking forward to a new year. HOPEFULLY it will be a lot less dramatic!

I will be having this challenge and the next challenge...posting soon...end at the same time, roughly. GOOD LUCK!!

Challenge #16... THE GAME is- RED ROVER, RED ROVER

Hello friends!  Again, we are late...it has been a one thing after another for me (will have an update on my blog with ALL of my recent creations), and for June, and even the other DT members have been dealing with illness or maintenance issues with health.  June's Dad is in end stages of Cancer and will be MIA for a while.  We are fortunate to have a guest designer until the end of the year, and then we'll see what happens after that.

 Hi, I'm Kathryn (also known as Kat or even Boatbird on occasion) and I'm 36, full time working mummy to a gorgeous 20 month old little boy I was told I would never have! I don't get much time to myself but when I do I love to create things- sometimes in the kitchen or on my desk but always with plenty of mess. I am interested in lots of crafts from beading to painting, photography to embroidery and will try anything once. I studied Art and Photography to college level but left art behind for many years til I discovered ATCs in 2007 and realised what was missing from my life!

Hi! I live in Buffalo, New York, USA. I share my home with my husband and two very spoiled cats. I have three lovely daughters who live on their own. I love to spend my free time crafting. I have always loved to play with paper. I am a paper artist who enjoys collage, mixed media art, decoupage and assemblage. Recycling is important to me. I try to utilize junk mail and alter/re-purpose existing items.

Challenge #12...THE GAME is-- DRESS-UP (Halloween)

Hello Artists and friends!  FRANKENSTORM Sandy, left me without power for almost 3 days, and lots of lost trees...including a beautiful blue spruce, which we are hoping we can save it is only half uprooted (hanging on to a maple tree)
We also lost one our our HUGE, TOWERING, ANCIENT yet healthy pines, uprooted completely and over the fence. 

Additionally, June is on temporary Hiatus, due to family illness, and my hubs is back in the hospital, he may need some heart work (waiting on a cath.) but has to have a toe amputated.

so we are a bit late again.  Starting in DECEMBER we will have a few new faces around here! 

This fortnight's challenge is DRESS-UP; Halloween style.
That means show us art in the form of a costume, or art featuring a costume, or part of a costume.

June is dealing with  a very ill mom and dad. Anita has to leave for a while for  surgery and recovery and my hubs as you know has not been very strong. In fact he fell twice this past weekend.

Challenge #11- THE GAME is...PUNCH BUGGY

Hello Artists and friends! I am sorry I am a day late. I have had a rough week personally, and then another DT had some computer issues. ANYWAY...

Reminder I am excepting email inquiries for DT positions...I have received a couple.  I  still HAVE NOT taken any time to read them yet, My mom had her breast mass removed, and then when she saw the breast doc 2 weeks later the biopsy showed it is more aggressive than they thought, so it is being recommended that she undergo radiation treatments or the rad. pills. She sees the oncologist next week.  Ron is still adjusting...no PT started yet as we do not have the money right now. :(
AGAIN thank you all soooo VERY much for all your well wishes etc. They mean the world to us!

In other news, Anita is on Hiatus until January.


LET'S PLAY...PUNCH BUGGY...
for those outside the USA...this is a driving-in-the-car-game!  when you see a Volkswagon beetle, you punch someone in the car in the arm and say PUNCH BUGGY ....and the color...example:  Punch Buggy Blue...at the end of the car ride, whoever spotted the most "buggys" wins!
