Challenge #14...THE GAME is Duck, Duck, Goose...er TURKEY!

Hello Crafty friends!  Again, we are late...it has been a one thing after another for me (will have an update on my blog with ALL of my recent creations), and for June, and even the other DT members have been dealing with illness or maintenance issues with health.  June's Dad is in end stages of Cancer and will be MIA for a while.  LUCKILY, we are fortunate to have a guest designer until the end of the year, and then we'll see what happens after that.

It is my honor to introduce you to our guest designer Wendylynne!!

Hi! I live in Buffalo, New York, USA. I share my home with my husband and two very spoiled cats. I have three lovely daughters who live on their own. I love to spend my free time crafting. I have always loved to play with paper. I am a paper artist who enjoys collage, mixed media art, decoupage and assemblage. Recycling is important to me. I try to utilize junk mail and alter/re-purpose existing items.

THE GAME is...

DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE (or turkey in this case) 

This is a children's circle game

it is in Honor of the USA Holiday Thanksgiving!  which usually means TURKEY!!

Your creation must feature a turkey ...it can be a turkey, have an image of a turkey or whatever.

Hi there folks!  I hope all is well with all of you.  Most of us are dealing with lots of stuff. but we aren't gonna bring anyone down talking about  it this week!

Welcome to LUCKY challenge # 13 :)...it is my hubs lucky #.
In other news, Starting in December there will be a couple of new faces here :) Starting in January June will be taking a hiatus to continue caring for her folks. Hopefully she'll be back with us before too long.

Challenge #12...THE GAME is-- DRESS-UP (Halloween)

Hello Artists and friends!  FRANKENSTORM Sandy, left me without power for almost 3 days, and lots of lost trees...including a beautiful blue spruce, which we are hoping we can save it is only half uprooted (hanging on to a maple tree)
We also lost one our our HUGE, TOWERING, ANCIENT yet healthy pines, uprooted completely and over the fence. 

Additionally, June is on temporary Hiatus, due to family illness, and my hubs is back in the hospital, he may need some heart work (waiting on a cath.) but has to have a toe amputated.

so we are a bit late again.  Starting in DECEMBER we will have a few new faces around here! 

This fortnight's challenge is DRESS-UP; Halloween style.
That means show us art in the form of a costume, or art featuring a costume, or part of a costume.

June is dealing with  a very ill mom and dad. Anita has to leave for a while for  surgery and recovery and my hubs as you know has not been very strong. In fact he fell twice this past weekend.

Challenge #11- THE GAME is...PUNCH BUGGY

Hello Artists and friends! I am sorry I am a day late. I have had a rough week personally, and then another DT had some computer issues. ANYWAY...

Reminder I am excepting email inquiries for DT positions...I have received a couple.  I  still HAVE NOT taken any time to read them yet, My mom had her breast mass removed, and then when she saw the breast doc 2 weeks later the biopsy showed it is more aggressive than they thought, so it is being recommended that she undergo radiation treatments or the rad. pills. She sees the oncologist next week.  Ron is still adjusting...no PT started yet as we do not have the money right now. :(
AGAIN thank you all soooo VERY much for all your well wishes etc. They mean the world to us!

In other news, Anita is on Hiatus until January.


LET'S PLAY...PUNCH BUGGY...
for those outside the USA...this is a driving-in-the-car-game!  when you see a Volkswagon beetle, you punch someone in the car in the arm and say PUNCH BUGGY ....and the color...example:  Punch Buggy Blue...at the end of the car ride, whoever spotted the most "buggys" wins!
